時間線 TIMELINE

謝謝你來與我們感受時間
這次體驗大概半小時多
這包括參與性的表演 和 之後分享
為了這次體驗特別邀請了六位參與者
和在旁的觀眾
現在先給參與者一些指示 就可以開始了
thank you for coming to experience time with us
this experience will take about half an hour which includes a participatory performance and a sharing
for this experience we have invited 6 participants along with a spectating audience
now i will give the participants some instructions and then we can begin

大家會看到前面有六個架子
請六位參與者個選一個架子 把腳踩上
you will see in front of you that there are 6 stands
may the 6 participants each choose a stand to step on with your feet

你會看到架子上有一塊海綿
我會把墨汁倒進海綿
你也會看到架子上有幾個釘子
我會把線穿過釘子中間
you will see on the stand a piece of sponge
i will pour ink into the sponge
you will also see on the stand some nails
i will stretch a line between the nails

線會穿過你面前的釘子
像時間一樣一直走
參與者可以使用 拇指 和 海綿上的墨汁
在線上留下記號
a line will pass through the nails in front of you
it will keep moving like time
the participants can use their thumb
and the ink on the sponge
to leave their mark on the line

讓我們一起在時間線上 留下個人記號
讓我們一起感受時間
let us make our individual marks together
on the timeline
let us experience time together

時間線 to 時間框

as the participants try to leave their mark on the line, i am pulling it into a pile of ink and "erasing" or "covering" the marks dyeing everything black. when the line "runs out" i collect the stands in front of each participant and bound them together into a sculpture-monument-totem by walking with the line in my hand around in circles like "winding back time" and when this is happening we invite the audience to share their personal experience with time and the timeline

當參與者試著在線上留下記號時，我會把線收回把線放進墨汁里把線全沾黑蓋過記號。線收完時把參與者面前的架子全部接在一起讓後手拿著線用走圈圈的方式把架子綁起來成紀念雕塑（像轉回時間）同時邀請觀眾分享自己個人以時間和時間線的感想

we decided to transform the sculpture created from TIMELINE into another piece. this became two separate objects we keep that only when joined together will form a frame will form a TIMEFRAME

我們決定把時間線留下的雕塑變成另外一個雕塑作品。這變成了兩個可以接在一起的物件。接在一起它們會合成一個框一個時間框
